The nonrefundable $250 fee for the Watershed Stewards Academy covers some of the expenses associated with the program and payment demonstrates a level of commitment.   It is due upon acceptance into the program.

If you are unable to pay the fee for the course, you may pursue alternative options, such as:

1. Find sponsorship through a community organization such as a local watershed group or homeowners association.

2. Apply for a scholarship through the Howard County Watershed Stewards Academy

To apply for a scholarship, write, then submit a letter of intent and commitment to the program (no more than two pages). The letter should describe why you want to become a Master Watershed Steward, what advantages you can bring to the position and describe in some detail what storm water management problems you want to address in your community as a Master Watershed Steward.

I understand and agree to the program requirements as stated on the Applicant Information Sheet. I also understand that as a Master Watershed Steward, I will serve as a resource to my community, and as such, my name and e-mail address will be made public. (Please Type Your Name Below)
